Have you ever had the opportunity to see the Musical, Miss Saigon?  This spectacular musical debuted in London on September 20, 1989.  It arrived on Broadway in 1991.

Created by the Les Miserables team of Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil, the 1970s-set Miss Saigon centers on the doomed romance between a Vietnamese woman and her American G.I. lover.

As of May 5, 2019,  Playbill listed Miss Saigon as the 13th longest-running Broadway musical in musical theatre history.  It is  known for landing a helicopter on stage.

Although the show has had some criticism for not showing the “real” Viet Nam, it is one of the most popular shows from Broadway.  The music is just amazing.

On June 21, 2010, Clay Aiken and Quiana Parler performed one of the most popular duets from Miss Saigon. Titled, Last Night Of The World, their performance was a huge hit at the benefit concert for The North Carolina Theater.

  1. Thank you for the pictures and the video. I love the pictures and video. I did see Miss Saigon many years ago in Philadelphia, Pa. It is a beautiful and sad song. It is a very surprise to see a helicopter land on the stage. Thank you CANN.
