Steve Perry and Jonathan Cain, two of the members of the rock band Journey wrote the song “Open Arms.” According to the lyrics, it is a song that shows the struggle of two lovers who, after a spat, are trying to reconcile. They know they must start anew with “Open Arms.”

Open Arms is one of my favorite Clay songs. He and Kelly Clarkson sang this as a duet in their Independent Tour. I like the first picture the best.

This is a first for me. I am absolutely stumped. Cannot chose a best photo. They are all terrific. I love Clay in action i.e. whenever he emotes while singing. It's a nine way tie!
The Open Arms video is a gem. Right then it should have been and actually was obvious – Idol found, search over. It's incredible that Clay was not given the title. Soooo wrong in every way!
I love them all, but 3, 4 & 7 are my favorites. Clay not only opens his arms, but his heart when he sings. I never get tired of seeing his early performance of Open Arms when he wowed the judges.
Loved watching that clip of "Open Arms" again. Just can't get enough of Clay's voice. Even when Clay sang this with Kelly C., it's Clay that does the harmonizing…He can just sing anything, and he can harmonize with anyone. What a talent.
I'm with gaymarie…I can't pick out a favourite picture, cause I love them all. But I will say, I love the joy in Clay's face in the first one, and love the confidence that shows in the last picture…Love them all though.
