When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes.
But when you photograph people in Black and White, you photograph their souls!
~ Ted Grant ~
Black and White images can be strong, high contrast and powerful –
or they can be so soft, gentle and subtle.
Taking the color out of an image lets the subject speak for itself.
Its raw, it’s stripped back, it’s honest and it allows you to show the true person.
Are you a fan of Black & White Photos?
Yes, the images of Clay are mesmerizing! He shows us his soul!
I have albums filled with b&w photos. My son, who loves photography, still takes b&w photos, even at weddings. Clay looks good in color or b&w.
Yes, love B&W pictures! He looks gorgeous in any type of picture!
Being a photographer, I'm a huge fan of B&W! I agree with the quote about B&W letting the subject speak for itself, whether a person or not. There is a true beauty in B&W.
I really like black and white pictures. There is something special about them…and of course…having Clay as your subject sure helps!!!!!
Before I retired I taught b&w photography in highschool using basic cameras where you set all of the controls. I don’t think you can buy them anymore. I agree that b&w has more feeling & soul. The photos of Clay are proof of that. He’s a work of art anyway! – day 1 fan w/unconditional love for Clay.
