David Siegel is a musician and songwriter who lives in South Beach, Florida. In 2003/2004, David collaborated with Enrique Iglesias, Steven Morales and Kara Dioguardi to write for Clay Aiken. David is given credit for co-writing Measure of A Man and The Way. Both of these songs have always been popular with Clay Aiken fans. They have great lyrics and it always seemed they were songs that Clay enjoyed singing.

David is known for performing most of the instruments on his own productions, as well performing as a musician for countless sessions outside of his own work. Siegel also enjoys performing live in South Beach. He performs bass in a rock band named Raging Geisha.

I've never seen this video on MTV, but I have watched it many times on other sites. Wonder what Clay is up to these days and where he might be in the world. I'm sure he will surprise us.

Really love both “The Way” and “Measure of a Man” – both are excellent songs and Clay does them both justice when performing each song! I love watching any video of the WAY! I do watch it quite often. Thank you so much for all of the information and photos.
