Do you remember the infamous tug? The first clack of the tug was wonderful to see, but it was even more fun to listen to the crowd and their reaction to Clay Aiken’s newest “move.”
As each concert went by, the tug got bolder and people said you could see the twinkle in Clay’s eyes as he just knew what he was doing to the crowd.
The tug is important enough to warrant its own poll. Please vote for the tug you like the most. Then, maybe you can share your first encounter with “The Tug.”
The first picture is horrible, but it is the “first” tug. I could not find it with his face showing. Sorry, but…….it is the first tug!!!

The first of many Clay moves (I’m discounting the Grease hip jerk LOL). My favourite move is the “party all night” with the towel.

Cannot wait to see Clay Aiken again live and in person – every tour different, but each one just as wonderful and memorable.
I’ve never seen “the tug” in person but I’m hoping that one day he’ll bring it back!!

I had to vote for #5 because I saw him on GMA that morning and knew that I would be seeing him LIVE that night at Mohegan Sun.
I can’t remember ever being quite that excited. Had butterflies in my stomach all day long. And that JBT that I saw that night was the best thing I have ever seen in my whole life!!!

They’re all great, but I have a soft spot for the first one. I’ve never seen it live…if I had they would have had to scrape me off the floor, but it gets me everytime (so has every tug since!!)

Thanks for posting the video. I vividly remember watching the first video that came out of this performance and having to tilt my head because the video was playing sideways! Good times!
