This past week-end was a Broadway extravaganza for Clay Aiken. He was able to attend two different Broadway shows on one week-end! I guess that is one of the advantages of living in New York City!
On Saturday, Clay attended The Deaf West Theaters production of the rock musical, Spring Awakening. The show is on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theater and is directed by Michael Arden.
Thanks to the star of the show who is also a friend of Clay, we got a great picture. Thank you, Marlee Matlin for the nice tweet and picture of you and Clay!

Sunday was the opening of the new play, Misery. This show was adapted for the Broadway stage by two-time Academy Award® winner William Goldman and is based on the classic Stephen King novel, MISERY. The show stars Bruce Willis who is making his Broadway debut and three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf.
The Red Carpet was rolled out for the opening so there was lots of press in attendance to catch pictures and remarks from the many stars that were a part of the audience.
Clay attended the play with his good friend, Keala Settle. She and Clay starred together in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Ogunquit and Keala performed at the National Inclusion Project Gala in 2013.
From all the fun pictures, it looks like they had a great time at the show!
Clay tweeted the following:
Clay Aiken @clayaiken
“Miserable” with @kealasettle at opening night of Misery on Broadway (which Keala thought was a musical… no shit)
MISERY will play a strictly limited engagement of 16 weeks. The show has received mixed reviews, but it looks like Clay and Keala had a great time!
Isn’t it fun when we get to see great new pictures of Clay?
