Clay Aiken – Hearing An Amazing Singer.

According to Taylor Strecker, star of the radio show, Wake Up With Taylor, Clay Aiken will be co-hosting on Tuesday morning…that’s today!!!

As you probably know, Wake Up With Taylor is a daily talk show on Sirius XM Stars 109, from 7:00AM ET to 10:00 AM ET. The 3 hours are for pop-culture topics, celebrity interviews, and some fun comedic segments.

It seems that Clay participates on the show every 2 weeks.  I have always enjoyed Wake Up With Taylor when Clay is co-hosting.  The rapport and friendship between the two of them comes through and makes their conversations fun and lively.

So…get a cup of coffee or tea and settle down for some fun entertainment!

On Monday, Clay sent a fun tweet and instagram:

It seems that Clay was at Feinstein’s 54 Below to hear Lea Salonga perform a program titled Encore.

The following is a biography from Feinstein’s website:

After a sold-out engagement last April, Lea Salonga returns to Feinstein’s/54 Below with a show The New York Times called “one of the year’s most satisfying cabaret shows” and Theatermania touted as “unmissable”! Salonga smartly weaves together a set list of her favorite standards, go-to pop tunes, and Broadway ballads. This trio of piano, guitar, and voice ensures an intimate experience with a true Broadway icon. Salonga joins us for a record-breaking run of 15 performances this spring!

Salonga is a Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Award winner for originating the role of Kim in Miss Saigon. She has also starred on Broadway in Allegiance, Les Miserables and Flower Drum Song. She has voiced two singing princesses in Disney animated films (Jasmine in Aladdin and Mulan in Mulan), appeared in both the 10th and 25th Anniversary concerts of Les Miserables, and toured the globe as a concert artist and released numerous solo recordings.

I am sure that Clay had a wonderful time hearing Lea sing at the beautiful Feinstein’s/54 Below, the finest cabaret/restaurant in New York City.  It is owned by a group of Broadway producers.

Have you ever heard Salonga sing?  Her voice is beautiful and her emotions come through the music.  I thought you might like to hear her sing one of the songs from Miss Saigon.  I hope you enjoy it!

This is a beautiful song sung by a beautiful voice.

Maybe Clay will have a chance to sing with her someday!
