Christmas Count-down = 4 Days!!
Are you ready?
It is always fun when there is some updated news or pictures of Clay Aiken. On Saturday, two very different messages/photos were posted on social media sites.
Karl Johnson is a 3rd generation silhouette artist. He has been creating silhouettes for most of his life. His work has been featured in over 30 international publications. Karl and Clay met and had a “selfie” taken together on Friday. It seems that Karl was having a silhouette event at the children’s clothing store, Peek…Aren’t You Curious . I wonder if Clay had a silhouette made?
It is fun to learn about Karl and his art. Be sure and check out his website and see some of the beautiful silhouettes made by Karl You can see it at KARLJOHNSON
I also checked out the children’s clothing store, Peek – Aren’t You Curious. There are branches of this store in 10 different states. There is even a branch about 5 miles from me. Guess where I am going in January!! Check it out! PEEK
NBCUniversal – Media Village posted eight pictures from the Esquire Network/Clay Aiken project. The date they have for all the pictures is April 2015. The pictures are wonderful, but cannot be posted. You can see the pictures at ESQUIRENETWORK The following is a picture that was posted when the show was first announced so I assume it is part of the series.
Today is the first day of winter. Winter solstice marks the beginning of winter and it’s also the shortest day of the year. Because of the earth’s tilt, on this day the Northern Hemisphere is as far away from the sun as it can be. Therefore, the first day of winter has the least amount of sunlight.
Solstice means “standing still sun” and has historically been a day for celebration. Do you celebrate winter solstice? Leave a comment and let us know.
