Speakers and Entertainers
“Thanks to all Key Club members for your support of UNICEF,” says UNICEF Ambassador Clay Aiken. “I am looking forward to seeing you in Memphis this summer to share more about the great work UNICEF is doing and how your support is making a huge difference in the lives of children around the world.”
According to the current schedule, Clay will be heading the “Recognition Session” which is on Friday, July 9, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. CDT.
Here is the current schedule:

The event will be streamed over the internet on Livestream starting on July 8 at 7 p.m. CTD. You can either go directly there to watch, or you can go to our Key Club Convention page where I have embedded the live stream and you can join us watching the convention and chatting with each other on our chat box. We hope you opt to join us! It will be fun!
I still get so proud of Clay and all the good he in involved in. He cares and truly wants to make a difference in the world. Best wishes for your speech Clay. I can't wait to hear what you have to say.
I love listening to Clay speak about anything, but I particularly love to hear him speak about the things that are so very important to him and close to his heart. I'll be here!! If I forget, someone come and whack me upside the head, okay? If it's Central time, then I need to be here starting at 4:30 (note to self, don't forget)
Musicfan..thanks for this…. Does Clay ever stop??? Gosh, he's just been going since the beginning of June. Not only promoting his CD, but now in his Unicef capacity…. No wonder we adore him, he's always wanted to make a difference…..and he sure has… Hopefully I'll be here to hear it all…..
Hugs,
Judy
If he is the only one who is speaking in the Recognition session, then he will be talking for 2 1/2 hours! But, I don't know how these things work. Will someone else be speaking for a while and then Clay? Though, if that was the case, then I would think their name would be listed too.
The Recognition Session is when the Key Club members are recognized for their scholarships, contests and talent, in addition to the amount of money that they've raised for UNICEF. UNICEF is one of Key Club service partners and the 250,000 members work to help UNICEF every fall with Trick or Treat for UNICEF. He'll accept a check and do a short presentation, but more like 15-20 minutes, not 2.5 hours.
Thank you Marsha!
Thanks for the info on the Kiwanis Key Club Convention 2010. I couldn't be more proud of Clay Aiken if he was my own son. The children of the world are very lucky to have Clay Aiken as a big champion for children's causes. He works very hard to make a difference for them.
Thank you for the outline of the recognition, Marsha. Whether 1-20 minutes or 2.5 hours, I will be listening and enjoying with great pride in all that Clay aiken has accomplished and will accomplish in the years ahead for such a good cause! I truly admire this man and his voice in any capacity in which he uses it!
Thank you for the info! Will be listening!
I love to hear Clay talk about what is close to his heart. Whether it is 15 minutes or 5 minutes. He always has a lot to say in a short amount of time.
Thanks for letting us know that this event will be streamed online. I'll be sure to listen.
