Clay Aiken – Make October Count!

The month of October is becoming a full and exciting month for fans of Clay Aiken.  Perhaps the most important task for the month is the voting for The National Inclusion Project at the Pepsi Refresh Challenge.  Fans are determined that October will be National Inclusion Month at Pepsi.

Besides voting, fans are recruiting as many voters as they can find.  Clay fans are so inventive and they have so many good ideas.  It is great to see the many ideas and watch as the hard work puts the Project closer to the win.

I would like to recommend two wonderful blogs that will give you great information and suggestions about voting and supporting at the Pepsi Challenge.  Both sites have wonderful details that you might be able to use as you recruit new voters to the cause.

Visit:  The Life And Times of A Clay Aiken Fan.  The author, SueReu has listed some of the wonderful charities that are also working for votes.  You will learn so much when you read this informative blog.

Next, visit:  Carolina on My Mind.  Caro has a list of suggestions for enlisting friends, organizations, work associates and even “AuntSuzi.”  She also researched what some of the winners from last month did to get voters.  Thanks, Caro, for all the great information.

It is also wonderful to see the exciting threads on the fan boards.  Magicalmusic has set up a voting thread at the ClayBoard.  It is a great resource and headquarters where fans can get updated information and  discuss the newest information.  Magical is a great cheerleader and encourages all to VOTE 3 WAYS!!

In just 10 days, some lucky Clay fans will be in Chicago for a wonderful Clay Aiken concert at the Park West Theatre.  The concert is a fundraising event for WTTW – Chicago, the PBS TV station that debuted Tried & True: Live!  Fans are hoping that the intimate concert will be a preview of Clay Aiken Tour that is scheduled for February and March, 2011.

According the news from the station, a few tickets are still available.  The deadline for purchasing the tickets for this concert is Friday, October 8th.

Be sure and keep checking in to get the most up-to-date information on purchasing tickets for the upcoming Clay Aiken Tour.  Each venue seems to have their own calendar so be sure and check for OFC Pre-sales and also when the tickets are made available to the general public.

The Official Fan Club pre-sale for Houston, TX is TODAY!!  The sale will begin at 10am PDT.  The fan club says that they will have great seats for members of the OFC.  These pre-order tickets will be available until October 7th at 10am PDT.  Good Luck!!

The public sale of tickets for the San Francisco concert, held on March 12, 2011, were offered for sale on Sunday at Ticketmaster.  Now that the concert has been moved to a larger venue, tickets should still be available.

Are you on the way to Raleigh for the National Inclusion Project’s Champions Gala?  On October 16, 2010, the Gala will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center.  Starting at 5pm, the event will feature dinner, silent and live auctions and entertainment by Clay Aiken.  Check back for updated information about the details.  They will be posted as soon as they reach us.

A big Thank You for all your support at CANN.  We appreciate all your comments and suggestions.

The following video from SueReu is a touching reminder of the 2009 Champions Gala.  Enjoy
