I am on the last few hours of my wonderful trip to New York City. This entire trip and concert experience has been exciting.
Tuesday, I had the opportunity to visit the offices of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. I met Dan Perry at the office and he showed me around the facilities. Each person that we met went out of their way to be friendly and it was obvious that they are proud of their organization and enjoy their job.
The walls of the office are filled with signed posters from the different events that BC/EFA has produced. It is amazing to see the many brilliant artists that have supported this fine organization by donating their time and talent.
It was obvious from the comments of many staff members that they respect Clay Aiken and are appreciative of his support for their cause.
I am so glad that I had the opportunity to get to know more about this important organization. I hope that all of us will be able to support them in any way we can, whether its attending their events, buying some of their beautiful gifts, purchasing show tickets through them or buying the DVD of Broadway Backwards. It is an organization that does so much good.
Speaking of good…I am still in awe of the wonderful performance from Clay Aiken. The song “Home” was a perfect song for Clay to sing and his passionate performance touched the audience.
I am sure you have all seen the following pictures of Clay at the After-party at John’s Pizza. But…pictures of Clay Aiken are always worth seeing again.
Now………how many days is it before the tour starts? It’s just around the corner!!
Very interesting to have a tour of the BCEFA office. This has been so informative and I'll continue to support this cause. One way is buying the dvd that I hope they will be selling.
What a great cause for Clay to work with. It's good stuff that they do.
Just looking at those pictures of Clay I have to say, what a smile! 🙂
Clay looked so relaxed and seemed to be proud to be there. The audience appreciated his part of the program. There was some tissues being used at that time!
So happy that you had such a wonderful experience. I know that you represented Clay's fans well and loved reading that the staff there respects and appreciates Clay Aiken.
Those pictures are beautiful.
Cannot wait for the tour to start………………tomorrow!!!
It makes me happy seeing Clay smiling so brightly and he should be after the fabulous performance he had given earlier that night.
I forgot to add that I'll be buying the DVD of Broadway Backwards and I encourage everyone that can afford it to buy a copy too. The entire show was wonderful.
Thank you for buying the DVD. It is important that we support this wonderful organization. each act on the show was worth buying a DVD. I am looking forward to getting the DVD.
Wonderful blog musicfan. So happy for you that you got to take the tour and to see the BB6 show. I love all of your excitment. Love all of the pics and Clack we have gotten from this. So can't wait for the tour to start tomorrow night and so can't wait until Clay in March. This is all going to be lots of fun. 🙂

Such a great adventure for you!
Thank you for sharing it with us and for posting the Broadway Backwards photos of Clay.
He looked so happy. His performance of Home was wonderful and touching as well.
Glad to hear about your tour at Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. It is great that Clay gets so much respect there…he deserves it. Loved his rendition of "Home" and still can't stop watching it. I love the happy smiling Clay..he is adorable. I will surely want to buy the DVD of Broadway Backwards6. I didn't get to go to the actual show..so I would be proud to own it.
I'm so glad you were able to go to the show musicfan and to have a tour of the BCEFA office. Clay did a wonderful rendition of "Home." Clay looks great in those pictures – relaxed and happy!!!!!!
