As a resident of California, I was very excited when we got word that Clay Aiken was bringing his Joyful Noise Tour to California. As soon as the information was confirmed, I tried to get as much information as I could about the venue and the concert.
Joyful Noise 2012
Friday, December 21, 2012
City National Grove at Anaheim
$39.50 – $69.50
On sale – 11/01 – 10:00 AM
However, just when you think you post correctly about the concert, things change. Originally, when you clicked on the Clay Aiken page at the venue website, it mentioned that there would be pre-sales on November 1st. Well, at this time, this information is no longer posted.
I did call the venue and was told that yes, there was a pre-sale, but you had to have a presale code. You get the code when you register for the venue’s weekly newsletter. OK…done…BUT as of midnight, I have no code.
In talking to Bree at the box office, I did learn that they will be using seating chart A. In this seating arrangement, the first five rows are considered VIP seats. If you sit in this area, you do not have table seating.
Seats in Tier 2 require a $20.00 deposit per ticket for dinner, but the other tiers do not require the deposit.
SO….it sounds like if you want to get the very best seats, you had better call the box office and get the details. Hopefully, you can get the code and purchase some great tickets. I am no help at all!!

The City National Grove of Anaheim is an indoor live music venue in Anaheim Ca. It is less than 2 miles from Disneyland and shares the parking lot of Angel Stadium. It is a ½ a block from the freeway and very accessible to all in the Southern California area. The Amtrak station is also very close to the theatre.
The Official site of The City National Grove says:
Nederlander Concerts books the hottest acts at the City National Grove of Anaheim, which draws patrons from all five counties in the L.A.market. This versatile indoor venue hosts more than 250 events annually ranging from concerts to comedy to corporate and private events. Its intimate size and flexible configuration creates a great atmosphere for artists and their fans.
It seems like a great place to hear Clay sing. Are you going to be there?
SO…bottom line…if you can get the code, call and get your seats today….if not, be sure and get them on Friday!
