Friday, February 22, 2013….a great day to be a Clay Aiken Fan!!
Friday started off with a wonderful blog by Clay. His recognition of the Clayboard was written with respect sprinkled with love. It was also fun to read a bit about the backstage adventures of the Idols 10 years ago. If you haven’t read the blog yet, get yourself over to the Official Fan Club and read it. AND…if you are not a member of the OFC, why not? It is an easy way to show your support for Clay and being able to read his blogs and participate in the video blogs is worth the small membership price!
The news about Clay’s upcoming starring role in The Drowsy Chaperone hit the Broadway news sites today. There were three great article about The North Carolina Theater and Clay.

When Clay returns to Broadway in the future, what role would you love to see him play?
It's so good to read these well written articles about Clay's upcoming role in the "Drowsy Chaperone".
I am so happy for all that get to see him perform in this show with the NCT. Sorry I won't be there –
but have every hope of being at my 3rd Gala in Oct. It was such a sweet, thoughtful Blog he wrote
today about the OFC and the CB 10th Anniversary! His goodness shines! And it keeps getting
brighter all of the time. <3
Great articles about the show. Glad to see some buzz. If Clay was back on Broadway I’d like to see him as The Baker in Into the Woods. I’ve always loved the Music Man too. I think Clay could do well as Harold Hill. I know David Foster was rumored to be writing a musical about Betty Boop. Maybe he could write a part for Clay in there. 🙂
I think he would be good as the NUTTY PROFESSOR, he was a scream as brother Maynard in Spamalot.
I commented on BroadwayWorld. Thanks, musicfan, for reminding us how important it is that we comment on wonderful writeups about Clay.
I'm happy to see all the press Clay is getting for his newest project. I hope it leads to another role on Broadway.
Oh my word! I'm so excited to see Clay's name out and about! He will be fantastic in whatever roll he would play on Broadway. His talent goes far beyond singing in my opinion. Loved the blog and loved the way you phrased it "written with respect and sprinkled with love" That's just the way he is. Just another thing to love about him and I agree the benefits of getting to be a member of the OFC is so worth the nominal membership fees.
Everyday is a good day to be a Clay Aiken fan. Thanks CANN for posting these articles about Clay's upcoming appearance in Chaperone. Wish I could attend. I'd love to see Clay in Book of Mormon. When I checked the NCT site, I noticed that Spamalot was just there in Feb. Too bad Clay didn't have the opportunity to appear in that play again.
I so wish I was going to see Clay in this play, I know our guy is going to shine like the stars…..
I watched the whole "Drowsy Chaperone" on YouTube. Clay was just made to play that part. I so wish I could go see it. He will be awesome in it. Hope someone will get some clack from it.
