It is always fun when you find news articles that have positive mentions about Clay Aiken. On Tuesday, March 5th, there were two different articles that featured Clay. One was about the beginning of Clay’s career and the other about an event that took place in 2012.
The website, Hollywire, posted an article about Donald Trump and Celebrity Apprentice. The interesting article is titled Trumping Trump: Why NBC May Fi-yah “The Apprentice” Series.
The article lists five reasons that Celebrity Apprentice might not return. All five reasons are logical, but I really enjoyed reason #4.
4. It’s (Allegedly) Rigged
All the cast members reportedly picked Clay Aiken to win last season, yet Arsenio Hall was crowned champion. It was then revealed that Donald was helping Arsenio land another talk show. When Joan Rivers won in 2009 and immediately landed a TV show called How’d You Get So Rich?, it was revealed that the executive producer for Celebrity Apprentice was also producing that show. It’s clear that the show is less about who does the best job and more about who Donald wants to win. Case in point: firing Bret Michaels on the first episode of this season because he “has already won the show before.” Really?
It is always great to realize that most people know who the real winner was last year on Celebrity Apprentice. All of the reasons are great so be sure and visit the site and read them all. Also, to the right of the article is a place to vote about the show. I voted…its so easy! AND…leave a comment. They are always important! To read the entire article click on HOLLYWIRE
The website, BuzzFeed, published a slideshow about the Rolling Stone covers that represented the 2003 pop/rock year. It was fun to see that Clay Aiken’s cover was ranked #7.
15 “Rolling Stone” Covers That Immortalized 2003 In Pop Culture
Looking back at 10 years ago, to what really mattered to us then.

The comment for the picture says:
…Clay Aiken had a bright future ahead of him.
It was nice to see that Ruben was included in the list too. As #10, Ruben’s comment said:
Ruben Studdard was your new “American Idol”.

I thought it would be fun to go back and see some of the pictures that were taken at the photo shoot for Rolling Stone.
What do you think?
Was Hollywire correct about Celebrity Apprentice?
Which Picture is Your Favorite?
Hey I don't think I've seen that second picture! Or maybe I have and didn't realize it till I see both of them together? At any rate, great memories! Saw the articles and it's really nice they thought Clay should have won. Don't we all WISH! Thanks musicfan. I have been enjoying "CANN RADIO" over there on the right. Wish it would work on my phone! Could it??
I totally believe it is time to fire the Donald. It was so obvious last year that the decision who would win was decided from the begining. I am not watching it this year, but if DT did not want a past winner on, he should have not chosen him for the show. Maybe they did not have enough people who would agree to be on it again. I can understand why if that is the case.
I like picture #1 the best. Clay has certainly matured since those pictures were taken and has only gotten more handsome. I was glad to see his cover as one of the top ones!
Clay looks mighty fine in all of the above photos. My favorite choice of photo #1 is based on background color and Clay's slight but sexy hip swing. Each detail really helps make the photo jump out at you and come alive, To me, photo #1 definitely depicts Clay as a bright new shining star.
Regarding the Celebrity Apprentice #4 Clay/Arsenio photo. The basic header description would be true if the word allegedly was crossed out and the word definitely was inserted instead.
Musicfan…..Thanks for a great blog.
Hollywire is absolutely correct, CA is rigged! Anyway, we all know Clay deserved to win, that's one show I won't be watching anymore, it was the first time i watched it because Clay was on it and it will be the last, it should be taken off the air, Trump is not fair.
Love the photos, I chose 1 and 2 but they're all gorgeous! Thanks Musicfan for all your info xox.
Interesting, positive comments about Clay in these 2 articles. Thanks for finding them for us. I do think Rolling Stone chose the right photo for the cover of Clay back in 2003. I've always like #3 also.
All of the above. why ? cos he looks amazing in spikes. hehe…
I love that all the comments on Celeb App put Trump down for his god-awful decision to name Arsenio the winner. UGH! It still annoys me no end.
The Rolling Stone pics: The top one is one of my all-time fave pics of Clay. I had been searching for that Rolling Stone issue for days until I finally found it, and instantly fell in life-long love with our guy. What a gorgeous pic of him!
Thanks, musicfan, for bringing us such great info and pics. I look forward every morning to receiving your email.
Thanks for the articles Musicfan. I'm glad that someone actually acknowledged the fact that last season's Celebrity Apprentice was Rigged. Most definitely was. Everyone I had talked to, that watched the show last year would come up to me and say that "Clay was Robbed". It was just so obvious. Nothing can be done about it now…but the show loses it's credibility, and the ratings for this season, show that. Clay's pictures from RollingStone…Gosh, look at how young Clay looks, he looks more like a teenager, than the 24 years he was at the time. I love all the pictures.
What great pictures. I really like that last one. So handsome! I think everyone knows Clay should have won last year. At least Clay and Arsenio are friends. He’d better have Clay on his show.
@.@ the last picture….. WoW 8)
clay should have won last year and not arsineo what great pictres ilike the last one also so handsome and at least clay and arsinio are friends and heds better have clay on the show
Clay looks sooo young in the RS photos. He sure had matured nicely since then.
