Did you see the new Banner from The North Carolina Theatre?  I think they may be excited that Clay will be starring in their production of The Drowsy Chaperone. Don’t forget to click on it to see it in its original size.

It was great that Clay put the American Idol Top 8 performance on his Official Fan Club.  It was fun to see it announced on his FaceBook page too and, of course, its always fun to read his tweets.    Be sure and watch the video and listen to the words…they are amazing!  The following is my favorite part:

What do you think
I would give at this moment
If you just stay I’d subtract twenty years from my life
I’d fall down on my knees,
I kiss the ground that you walk on
If I could just hold you again

At This Moment

  1. Of course he won!!!!! Clay has the most amazing fans ever! I'm still learning every day and still see new photos from over the past 10 years every day…I'm completely flabbergasted by it all some days! I love every minute of it though. I'm loving watching the videos as he puts them up and tweets about them…it's exciting. I've still never sat down and watched all the episodes of AI but I do have them on dvd and just need to do that…but this is just so fun to be reliving it with him weekly right now. 🙂

  2. OMG! I was so happy to see that Clay won The best of Broadway Poll. I enjoyed watching Spamalot again…and, I so wish Clay would go back to Broadway soon.

Love that new Banner from the Drowsy Chaperone. Wish I could go to this one…as the part was made for Clay. Glad there are a lot of fans who are going.

I love..love..love..At This Moment. I have been watching it a lot. One of the best he did.

  3. Yay for Clay. I would love to see him on Broadway again.

Clay was brilliant singing At This Moment. So beautiful.

  4. I voted and so glad to see that Clayfans are still keeping their voting fingers going for him – He is
definitely the best – there is no doubt!!! Would love to go to the Clay Play but had to make a choice
between the play and Gala and The Gala won out! Thanks gor the video – so appreciate all that you
do Musicfan!!! REALLY enjoying each weeks songs from Clay's season – Happy 10th once more!

  5. Wasn't here for Clay's stint on Broadway; but, have seen his Sir Robin and Clay was hysterical. What great timing he has. 🙂

"At This Moment" has always been one of my favorite Clay AI performances. For once I agree with Simon………Randy didn't know what he was talking about; nor did Paula. Clay sang it like his heart was breaking; a seriously beautiful performance.

Thanks for posting the poll results; and, for the video; much appreciated.

  6. At This Moment was one of my favorite songs that Clay performed on AI. Saw him in Spamalot twice and would have gone many more times if I lived closer. Clay was perfection in the part of Sir Robin (plus all the other characters he played).

  7. Yay for Clay that he won the Broadway.com poll! I can't say I liked At This Moment that much! I preferred Build Me Up Buttercup, & Grease as my favorite fast songs. As far as the ballads were concerned, I liked Solitaire, & To Love Somebody the best. And as far as group numbers went, I liked Guest Judges' Medley & Top 3 Medley the best.

Thanks for posting as always, Musicfan123!
