“There’s a Kind of Hush” is a popular song that was written by Les Reed and Geoff Stephens. It was a hit twice in the US charts. Herman’s Hermits recorded the song in 1967 and the Carpenters recorded it in 1976.
The popular song has been recorded successfully at least twenty more times. Clay Aiken recorded the song in 2010 and included it in his album, Tried & True.

One of my favorite songs! Love Clay's version but then I love his voice singing anything lol! I was around when Herman's Hermits had this hit. Loved it then too!

Saw Clay perform it live in concert twice – WTTW-PBS Chicago Benefit Concert and at T&T – Minneapolis. My two favorite Clay concerts of the ones I've been fortunate enough to attend.
