Clay Aiken – “It’s A Wonderful Town”

New York, New York, it’s a wonderful town!
The Bronx is up and the Battery’s down
The people ride in a hole in the ground,
New York, New York, it’s a wonderful town!

From random tweets and messages from Clay Aiken and his friends, we know that Clay has been in New York since he left Maine.

Of course, it has not been mentioned what he is doing in New York, however I am pretty sure he is there for more than the occasional dinners that he has had with his friends.

Someday, maybe we will know what he is doing!

Of course, Clay has visited and even lived in New York before this week.  The following are a few pictures from his adventures in New York!

May 26, 2003 – The Today Show

Arriving at the TV studio to perform

Riding the Subway with Tyra Banks

Broadway Backwards

UNICEF – Snowflake Lighting

Shopping In New York for Celebrity Apprentice

Starred in Spamalot at The Shubert Theatre

Well, I could go on and on and on…so many TV shows, concerts, attending other shows…I bet Clay feels right at home in New York!

What do you think Clay is doing in New York?

  1. My favourite picture is the first Clay photo up top – May 26, 2003 – The Today Show. Just stops me in my track! Oh wait, this is not a fav picture poll…

What is he doing in NYC? So many possibilities! Or he could really just be spending time with friends. I'm OK with that too. Can I just say he is the cutest cutie pie ever. I am SMITTEN and done for.

  2. I believe Clay mentioned that he quickly came to love the City of New York while in "Spamalot", and I imagine it is a place where he has lots of friends from "Spamalot" as well as from "Joseph" along with others not associated with entertainment. So it could be "party" time.

On the other hand, I am hoping he is doing some business there with regards to bookings for upcoming stage shows. It is my opinion that Broadway always needs new faces and new talent. Clay has certainly already demonstrated his abilities and his cooperation as part of a cast. Looks like the stage is a place he loves to be! And my place would be in the front row!!

  3. With my limited knowledge of Clay, I would hate to speculate, but it surely seems as if he is there concerning his career. Really hope he tells us sooner rather than later. No need for secrecy if it's a done deal, and more could become aware of his plans, and make some of their own!!!

Would definitely try to get to another Broadway play, but I do want it to be a musical, with lots of songs for Clay!!

First choice would be new, current music and a lively tour, but that's just a pipe dream at this point!

  4. I really, really hope Clay is doing something to advance his career during the day and is having a blast with his Joseph brothers at night.

  5. Don't have a clue, but hope we'll find out 'soon'.
Thanks for all of the great pictures–recognized every single one!!

  6. I love the first pic of Clay, too – he has the look in his eyes of whole new world – and it has been
such a wonderful journey so far – I hope many more of his dreams are out there somewhere – just
    waiting for him!!! 🙂

  7. i hope what ever clay is doing in newyork will be amazing and have a asounding incredable afect on him and its been a amazing jurney 10 years of clay
