Congratulations to Clay Aiken!
Clay will be inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame this year!
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, Oct. 16 at the historic Gem Theatre,
111 W 1st St., Kannapolis.
Clay certainly deserves this honor. I hope his schedule allows him to attend the ceremony.

As most of you know, Clay will officially file to run for Congress Thursday morning at 9:30am at the State Board of Elections.
What an exciting event for him.
According to Brice Barnes, a fundraiser and strategist,
Clay will be accompanied by friends and family.
Clay will then head to Asheboro for a listening session at Di’Lishi Frozen Yogurt on 405 E. Dixie Drive and close the day at the precinct meetings in Apex. We can follow along via Facebook and Twitter and don’t forget CANN!
This west coast supporter is getting up at 6AM so that I can share in all the excitement as it is happening!

Clay is definitely to be congratulated for his fortitude and willingness to step into the Congressional arena at this time in history. I cannot recall any occasion in our nation’s past that has been more lacking in presidential leadership or that has been more desperate for representatives who honestly fit the category of public servant and who recognize the extreme value of working together even when there are differences of opinion. Let’s unlock the gridlock starting with Clay’s election to Congress!!!
I am so proud of Clay. He is doing something for the entire country. I hope Clay enjoys every second of Thursday. I am so glad that you will have family and friends there to help celebrate the day!
