That statement doesn't seem to be a quote from Ellmers, but instead an observation by the writers of the column. Whatever it is, it's snarky and below-the-belt not good journalism. Love all the photos of Clay and the song you chose fit perfectly.
Emily…I am pretty sure that the article was a press release sent by Ellmers. First, it was the same thing in different articles and there was no credit for writing… it was "posted by". Of course I could be wrong, but it certainly wasn't written by the person at Under The Dome.
I have to say this and don't really want to but, I have to , I do not like the old fashioned hair style. clay has had so many great hair styles. The pompadour style is his worst….it makes him look older then he is….Please flatten it out where it sticks up at the top. I have never said anything bad about him in any respect to anything before……please change the hairstyle……other wise everything is perfect, but I do want to hear him sing again…..
I agree 100 Million, Gazillion %. He is so handsome, but I totally agree about his hair. He looks good on the interview on Arise 360. I also agree everything else is perfect. He is handsome, articulate smart and well informed. We all love you & want more than anything for you to win. I'm a "Gold" member. This is only constructive criticism from very loyal fans.
I think it is wonderful that Clay has taken his campaign on the road. Can't wait to see picture of him and the bus. He is reaching out to all the people in his district. I could not be more proud of him.
I do not like Ellmers at all. Don't like her style, her lies, and her misconceptions to the people that she represents in her district. Time for a change….Let's hope the people of NC02 realize what a great representative they have in Clay…..
After viewing the Aiken/Ellmers debate, I immediately realized that anything further Congresswoman Ellmers has to say will be totally void of actual facts and exceptionally juvenile. I believe her request to have Congressmen “dumb down” is a good idea even though her peers don’t seem to need this assistance.
I will have to admit Clay’s current hair style is not my favorite, but I have cut him some slack because there are probably excellent reasons why. Right now Clay is heavily focused on managing his campaign, and what he has scheduled for himself is nearly humanly impossible. I would venture to say that attention to his hair style or clothing is the last thing that enters his mind during his grueling daily rush. His hair style may now be part of the plan to minimize his “celebrity look”.
In his heart, I believe Clay does not think of himself as gorgeous. “Self”, for him, is on the back burner at all times. This quality is far more attractive than any hair style could ever be.
That Ellmers is still throwing digs at Clay, she's so infantile, not very classy, anyway I'm sure Clay is not paying any mind to her, it's wonderful that he's going to tour on his bus to campaign for the next 3 weeks, I wish him all the success he deserves, he's worked so hard in the campaign and he would be great in Congress!! Well, well, well! It didn’t take Ms. Ellmers long to copy the competition. Looks like singing and dancing are just what she needs to boost her campaign strategy! I wonder where she got such a notion? Didn’t Ms. Ellmers recently mention in her debate with Clay that he just can’t sing and dance his way into Congress? Which way is it, Ms Ellmers?
