Clay Aiken – A Thousand Memories

It’s always fun thinking back to Season 2 of American Idol.  We were introduced to a great group of young, talented singers.  Of course, Clay Aiken was on top of the list for me!!

Do you remember when Clay sang To Love Somebody?

I loved hearing Clay sing Build Me Up Buttercup!

Enjoy re-visiting the beginning of this wonderful journey!

Enjoy your Tuesday and watch the videos.  You will feel amazingly good!

  1. Just have to say that Clay is pure perfection! I loved both of these videos. Just

like everyone else is saying – we need some of Clay’s beautiful voice once again. He is being so terribly missed. The podcasts are fine, but Clay singing brings so much magic into our lives and we sure need some of that magic right now! Wish there was a way to let him know a few songs here and there would make so much of a difference to so many of us that are true fans!

    • Marlene, I totally agree with you! Hope Clay reads these and realizes how important he is in our lives and how much his singing does for us!!

      • Thanks so much, Val – it would be so wonderful for Clay to stop by here and realize how much he is needed by all of us. I know not too much can be done due to the virus but even some chats on FB would be nice with a song or two

thrown in would be great! He is probably keeping busy with family and his house, too! Will just keep on praying

        for some word from him.

  2. This is a great way to start the day…Clay singing his best and the judges giving him praise & good reviews.

  3. I love to watch Season 2 of American Idol on YouTube. This is one of my favorite performances “To Love Somebody” Robin Gibb gave high praise to Clay! Thank you, CANN!

  4. I love the Idol two, Clay was the Star and To Love Somebody was the best Simon said it was the best of all Idol up until then. So many memories. Clay still has many fans all over the world. I don't think he realizes how many fans he does have. Maybe if all of his fans ask him to sing he might. You remember him saying singing is the most joyous thing a person can do. I have to sing or I'm not happy.
