Clay Aiken – Anyone Would Know He Is A Star

It’s finally Friday! Felt like it took a week to get here!

Annie’s Song

You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest
Like the mountains in springtime
Like a walk in the rain
Like a storm in the desert
Like a sleepy blue ocean
You fill up my senses
Come fill me again

Come, let me love you
Let me give my life to you
Let me drown in your laughter
Let me die in your arms
Let me lay down beside you
Let me always be with you
Come, let me love you
Come love me again

~John Denver

Denver wrote this for his then-wife Ann Martell after their first separation and near break up of their marriage in 1974.

He was reflecting on all the joy he found in his marriage and his relief that they were back together.

Clay Aiken sang this lovely song on April 7, 2016 for the Final Finale of American Idol.

He stood on a black stage with a spotlight right on him.

Anyone would know he is a star.

Clay’s performance was beautiful.

I just wish he could have performed 2 or 3 more songs!!

Did you watch the Final Finale of American Idol?

  1. As usual I watched this on TV and loved the song. Clay did it beautifully but he wasn’t thrilled with it. He said it was a boring song – I think he would have liked to sing more songs, too! Everyone would love to hear him sing many songs! No doubt
    that he is a star!!!

  2. Thank you for the pictures and video. I love the first picture. I like the video, but it is to short. I did watch the last show of AI. I wish Clay sang a different song, but that is up to the producers. I like all the pictures. Clay is a star. Thank you CANN.

  3. You can bet I watched the last AI, just to see Clay perform. His song was short, but as usual, Clay sang his heart out. He looked handsome and the suit was perfect.
