In November of 2006, Clay Aiken released All Is Well, a studio EP. The four-song EP was originally an exclusive at Wal-Mart. However, in December of 2007, the album was picked up by iTunes.
All four of the Christmas songs are beautiful holiday songs and produced by some of the top producers in the music industry.
Extended play (EP) albums seldom chart or have their sales tracked. However, as with many of Clay’s albums, All Is Well broke some tradition in sales and popularity. The EP debuted at number 54 on the Billboard Charts.
The first track on the album is the beautiful song, All Is Well. This song was written by Michael W. Smith and Wayne Kirkpatrick and included on Smith’s 1989 album, Christmas.
Michael Smith is a 55 year old contemporary Christian musician. He is a three-time Grammy Award winner, and has earned over 40 Dove Awards. He has recorded 29 #1 hit songs, fourteen gold albums, and five platinum albums. He has sold more than 13 million albums.
Wayne Kirkpatrick is 51 and someone who stays in the background while he works as a very successful musician and composer. He wrote the beautiful lyrics to All Is Well
All is well – all is well
Angels and men rejoice
For tonight darkness fell
Into the dawn of love’s light
Sing A-le
Sing Alleluia
All is well – all is well
Let there be peace on earth
Christ is come – go and tell
That He is in the manger
Sing A-le
Sing Alleluia
All is well – all is well
Lift up your voice and sing
Born is now Emmanuel
Born is our Lord and Savior
Sing Alleluia
Sing Alleluia
All is well
Born is now Emmanuel
Born is our Lord and Savior
Sing Alleluia
Sing Alleluia
All is well
The following video is a wonderful performance by Clay of All Is Well on December 2, 2006. Clay was at the Star Plaza Theater in Merrillville, IN.
All is well is sooo beautiful. I love the whole EP but the first song is just amazing.
I'll never forget buying this EP and popping it into my CD player while in my car with my good Clay friend Pat. We were spellbound when we heard it! It is so exhilarating!!!! We were practically out of breath at the end!! STILL happens everytime I hear it! Oh I sure hope he sings this on the Tour!! EEEEE!
That was beautiful! Gorgeous voice, love you Clay and thanks Musicfan xox
Thank you so much for that video of "All Is Well." One of my favorite Christmas songs by Clay. Nobody can beat him on this one. Really makes me want to get out those Christmas Albums again. Seems a little early..but, heck, I have to get in the mood for my concert at The Capitol Theater on Nov.15. Hope he sings this one too. So excited!!
Clay has such an amazing range from deep and soft to high and powerful. All is Well and Mary Did You Know are my 2 favorite Christmas songs by Clay. I was at this concert in Cleveland.
I was at the Cleveland Christmas Show, too! He was just fantastic and All Is Well is one of my
favorites also – along with Mary Did You Know and O Holy Night!! It was a beautiful evening and
the finale was so exciting!
I love "All Is Well". It is my favorite Clay Christmas song. It highlights his vocal range so well.I am hoping he sings it on his upcoming tour!
I was there that night, my first time ever seeing Clay live (except the Idol tour, which I don't count LOL!) It was electrifying! Love the song, love Clay singing Christmas music, so sad I'm going to miss this tour, but really looking forward to hearing all about it!!! Thanks for the memory!
All Is Well is my all time favorite holiday song! Clay sings it from the heart. I do hope it will be a part of Joyful Noise 2012.

One day I will see him sing in person – one day…………. *sigh*
That was wonderful to watch again. Pure Joy in Clay's face at the end. This is such a hard song to sing, and he just absolutely nailed it. It gives me chills every time.
I have yet to hear Clay sing this live…have only been to the 2005 Christmas tour. I too remember getting this CD and popping it into my player and being blown away/chills by his voice on this song. Love being able to watch it from all the wonderful clack. Doesn't get any better than Clay singing Christmas! Thanks to for this wonderful site.
The first time I heard "All Is Well" by the Christian group Point of Grace I knew the song was perfect for Clay. I was thrilled when I heard Clay had recorded it. It was a dream come true to be able to hear it in concert several times.
