There are places I’ll remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I’ve loved them all
~
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
~
Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life, I love you more
In my life– I love you more
“In My Life” is a song by The Beatles written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The song originated with Lennon, and while McCartney contributed to the final version, the extent of his contribution is in dispute. Released on the 1965 album Rubber Soul, it is ranked 23rd on the Rolling Stone article “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time”, and placed second on CBC’s 50 Tracks. Mojo magazine named it the best song of all time in 2000.
On March 12, 2010, Clay Aiken sang this beautiful song on his Tried & True Live PBS Special. On the night of the recording, he dedicated the song to all the teachers that have been a part of his life.
Clay also featured this amazing song as he toured throughout the US on his Tried and True Tour.
Beautiful song + beautiful voice= perfect moment.

Love this beautiful song sung by Clay. thanks Musicfan xo
I have wonderful memories of adventures and new found friendships because of Clay. Places I would never have gone to and wonderful people I would not have met. And to be able to hear and experience in person, an exceptional, once in a lifetime singer. What a blessing. I am excited for Clay as he grows into his new role, he looks and sounds great and people are benefitting from this treasure trove of intelligence and heart. I can sit back with a heart brimming with pride as he takes the media and political world by storm and paves the way as usual. 😀
Wow Anna, I could NOT have said it better! He is so amazing!
