Clay Aiken – Great News

It was a great day on Tuesday, 2/25/20 when some interesting news appeared on Social media:

We’re very excited to announce our brand new podcast: “How The Heck Are We Gonna Get Along!” based off of everybody’s favorite (and longest running) Politicon panel. The series, in partnership with iHeartMedia Inc., will be hosted by Clay Aiken.

First episode airs Thursday March 5th and features guests: Lauren Chen, Adam Carolla, Representative Katie Hill, and John Iaderola.

Want in on the action? Visit politicon.eventlink.to/howtheheck for a chance to grab two free tickets to the taping in Los Angeles on March 4 – and submit a question for a chance to ask it live!

It is so nice to read that Clay will be hosting a Podcast for Politicon.  As I clicked on the site, I found more information:

Here’s your chance to throw yourself into the political scene headfirst as an audience member of Politicon’s new weekly podcast, “How The Heck Are We Gonna Get Along,” featuring a panel of your favorite political heroes and villains drawn from politics, media, comedy, and the internet – hosted by Clay Aiken.

Apply to one of the dates below for two (2) FREE tickets to attend the taping:

The best part? You get to ask the questions!

Simply submit your question when RSVP’ing for your chance to attend the taping and be selected to ask that question – in person – at that week’s recording.

Tickets are on a first come basis. If you don’t get picked, please try again next week.

The page has posted three dates so far.  They are:

March 4, 2020

March 11, 2020

March 18, 2020

I would love to be in the audience for one of these podcasts.  Clay will be great at keeping the things going, giving everyone a chance to speak, and know when to put a smile on when it gets too heavy.

I read about the guests for the 3 listed shows and it looks like it will be a group of interesting people.

Clay has been an important member of the Politicon Group.  He has attended each year and has been the moderator of many panels.  He also has been the head judge for the college debate contests. I am sure that Politicon is glad that Clay will continue to be on their team.

I am posting a few pictures of Clay from other years of Politicon.  Many thanks to SueReu for her magic with a camera and permission to use her pictures.

I am excited to listen to Clay next week.  I hope you are too.  If you have any questions, please ask.  I am sure we all will be glad to hear Clay chat….SOON!

PS…Be sure and check out Clay’s Twitter account.  He posted some tweets during Tuesday’s debate…I think he was having some fun!

  1. Hi. Thanks so much for this. Unfortunately, Verizon has hosed my yahoo email, and the politicon site gives no info on where this podcast is taped, nor does it give a telephone contact – only email. Email is also required to get tickets. OK, I need to set up a new email account but for many reasons I kinda need to wait until April. I would try to do it now (tho I have very little space left on this phone), but don’t want the hassle until I kniw whether I can even go – I’m in LA, but it’s a large city – do you know where it’s taped?

I did find the Politicon How The Heck Are We Gonna Get Along podcast on youtube; tonight, Mar 5, at 5:30, it was just an audio of Clay’s spiel about how it’s gonna be every Thursday at 5:30 PM Pacific time. Well, not this week I guess, cause you and info page show it taped on the 4th. I thought maybe it taped first; not.

Since I don’t have email, maybe you could just tell us where it’s taped, if you know, in tomorrow’s cnn. (So glad you gave us the vid for his Wildcard DLTSGDOM today, one of my very faves!)
