Clay Aiken – “It’s A Way of Life!”

Dance:

  • to move one’s feet or body, or both, rhythmically in a pattern of steps, especially to the accompaniment of music.
  • to leap, skip, etc., as from excitement or emotion; move nimbly or quickly: to dance with joy.
  • a form of non verbal communication between humans.
  • a successive group of rhythmical steps or body motions, or both, usually executed to music.
Are you watching the hit TV show, Dancing With The Stars?  I enjoy watching the show and enjoy seeing both non-dancing celebrities and dancing pros work together to put together some difficult routines.
I was sad last night when one of my favorites had to withdraw from the competition.  Olympic gold medalist Dorothy Hamill excused herself from further shows despite being safe after her scores were announced. Dorothy said:
I’ve taken the advice of my spine surgeon, and I need to withdraw from the competition. I have an injury that could be irreparable, and nerve damage. It would be completely unfair for me to stay in this and have any of these people go home… These are the most amazing people who want to be here. It’s not that I don’t want to be here, but I wish I could give it my all, but I can’t.
I am sure that Dorothy made a wise decision however I will certainly miss the talented, gracious and classy Ms. Hamill.
Now…how can we get Clay Aiken on this show?
Clay Aiken CAN dance!!

“Dance isn’t a form, it’s a way of life”

“Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another.”

“Dancers aren’t made of their technique, but their passion.”

“We dance for laughter, we dance for tears,

We dance for madness, we dance for fears.

We dance for hopes, we dance for screams,

We are the dancers, we create the dreams.
