One of the advantages to living in the city of New York is live theatre. If you love theatre, you have lots of choices to make.
According to The New York City Theater Guide, there are 40 professional theaters that are named Broadway theaters. Add to that the many off-Broadway theaters and the concert halls. You can never be bored in NYC.
On Saturday night, Clay Aiken went to the Cort Theatre to see the popular musical, Bright Star. Clay let us know he was there through a tweet and picture:

Bright Star is set in rural North Carolina in two periods, the 1920s and the 1940s. The central figure is a literary-magazine editor named Alice. According to the Bright Star Website, the shows plot is “…inspired by a real event…”
The story is written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell and directed Walter Bobbie.
One of the highlights of the show is the beautiful song, Asheville. It’s a beautiful song that is sung by Hannah Elless.
