Clay Aiken – It’s Friday! Hi To Our Friends!

Friday is not just another day of the week. It is actually the most expected and beloved day since it marks the beginning of the weekend. On Fridays, the work week is almost over while two days of freedom and fun over the weekend await us. There is a sense of anticipation and thrill that makes us happy!

Fridays  are exciting!

This Friday, we get to think over the great conversation Clay Aiken had with Michael Orland on Thursday evening.

Did you have chance to watch the great conversation?

Michael Orland was on American Idol for 16 years and I bet he has some fun stories about what happened behind the curtain.  The following are a few screen caps. They are difficult to get looking good, but it’s better than none!

If you didn’t get a chance to watch the conversation with Clay and Michael, you can still see it on Michaels Instagram account.  Just click on the square with Clay on Michaels Instagram account.

Today, Clay will chat on his Pod-cast, “How The Heck Are We Gonna Get Along”.  You will be able to hear Clay talk with Dr. Jonathan Metzl.  Dr. Metzl is the Frederick B. Rentschler II professor of sociology and psychiatry at Vanderbilt University and director of its Center for Medicine, Health, and Society.

Clay and Dr. Rentschler will:

examine what ails our country.  And from race relations, to our isolation, the pandemic, and the tendency of voters to cut off our noses to spite our face, there is a lot that ails us.  But in spite of the many ills we face, they both find hope in the possibility of our politics to stop otherizing and return to coalition building and charm offensives–if it’s still possible in 2021.

I look forward to the discussion and it sounds like a topic that will help all of us get through a difficult time and still be able to smile.

Speaking of smiling, let’s watch a video of Clay.  The talented SueReu put the following video together so you know it is great.  ENJOY!

Have a wonderful Friday and I hope you can relax and hear Clay talk and perform!
