Clay Aiken – Supporting A Cause

Have you heard of the organization Aid for Aids? This organization is the world’s largest HIV medication redistribution program. It has provided almost $120,000,000 of medication to 19,000 people in over 40 countries around the globe.

Aid for Aids is holding their My Hero Gala on November 4th, 2015 at the elegant Cipriani 25 in New York City.

The website, Look To The Stars, wrote an article about the event and has Clay Aiken listed as one of many celebrities that will be attending the My Hero Gala this evening. I hope that he is able to attend and that he has a great time.

From all I have read, the evening will be an elegant event. It is being held at the famous Cipriani 25 in lower Manhattan. This venue is a great hall and was originally built in 1921. It is known for 65-foot high ceilings, soaring marble columns, magnificent inlaid floors and murals.

ABC News Correspondent Gio Benitez will host the Gala. You might have seen him on Good Morning America or 20/20.

The entertainment will feature singer/actor Guto Bittencourt. He started his career by acting in popular Brazilian Soap Operas. Guto, an international star, has many theater and opera credits that include productions of Les Miserables and Chicago.

This black-tie event sounds like a wonderful evening. If Clay is there, I hope he enjoys the evening and…well, maybe send a short Periscope during the evening. And…perhaps there will be reports about the evening in the press.

Aid for Aids sounds like an amazing organization. I hope that besides honoring their heroes, they raise lots of money!

The following are a few pictures of other formal events that Clay has attended.

Can you name the event for each picture?  It’s fun to see Clay dressed so well!
