Clay Aiken – Many Different Talents

On Thursday, Clay Aiken presented his 19th podcast, How The Heck Are We Gonna Get Along. This podcast was a bit different that the others.  Instead of a panel, Clay had only 1 guest.  Clay chatted with the popular, Rev William Barber.  Do you know Rev Barber?   I looked him up on to learn more about him on Wikipedia:

Reverend William J. Barber II (born August 30, 1963) is an American Protestant minister and political activist. He is the President and Senior Lecturer at Repairers of the Breach and co-chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival. He also serves as a member of the national board of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the chair of its Legislative Political Action Committee.

From 2006-2017, Barber served as president of the NAACP’s North Carolina state chapter, the largest in the Southern United States and the second-largest in the country.[1] He has pastored Greenleaf Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Goldsboro, North Carolina since 1993.

It was a treat to hear Rev Barber and Clay on Thursday.  Dr. Barber is a brilliant man and he and Clay had a great conversation that covered many fields.  How exciting to hear two intelligent men talk…and…we got to listen in.
