What a great way to start off a week-end!!
Clay Aiken was live on the radio for over an hour Friday afternoon!!!
It all started with a tweet:

Yes….Clay was on the radio with his friend , Meghan McCain!
Of course, most of the conversation was about politics. With Clay being a Democrat and Meghan, a Republican, the conversation is interesting. I always enjoy it when they both listen to each other and respect each other enough not to get angry!!
One of the first bits of the conversation was about Donald Trump. Clay said he didn’t think Trump was racist. He just thought that what he said appealed to people who are racist.
The radio group also talked about Hillary Clinton. Clay said he was very impressed with Clinton’s speech on Election Night. He also said he did not believe that she was dishonest.
Throughout the show they also chatted about:
- Renee Ellmers and the Obama/Aiken Budget
- Refugees and immigration from Syria
- Will the Republican Party split?
- Clay feels that Hillary will win the election.
- Elizabeth Warren endorsing Hillary Clinton
I am sure I have skipped much of the information. BUT…The program can be heard again as Meghan always posts the shows for those who missed the program.

It is always fun when we get to hear or see Clay. He is so knowledgable and articulate and even if you don’t always agree with him politically, you know that he is not afraid to say how he feels!!
