Yesterday was an interesting day in the world of American Politics. Donald Trump became the presumptive Republican presidential nominee with a landslide win in Indiana that drove his principal opponent, Senator Ted Cruz to suspend his campaign.
According to The New York Times:
Mr. Trump, a real estate tycoon turned reality television celebrity, was not a registered Republican until April 2012. He has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats, including his likely general election opponent, Mrs. Clinton.
Clay Aiken, a democrat, had some fun Tuesday night sending out tweets about the Trump win. As we all know, Clay is not a fan of Political Trump so his tweets and tweets from others make an interesting read. I thought the following Facebook message was rather cute:
Brendan O
Should the American people be allowed to vote? I mean, we voted to name a boat Boaty McBoatface and voted for Ruben Studdard over Clay Aiken. Can we, as a whole, really be trusted?
That’s a fun message!!

Whenever I think about Donald Trump I remember 2012…the year Clay was a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice. I was never a big fan of the show, but I watched it each Sunday to see Clay and the great job he was doing on the show!
Did you watch Celebrity Apprentice?
