BC/EFA opened the on-line bidding for all the bears on January 23rd. At this time, only two bears have active bids; the Equus bear has a bid for $650.00 and the Sir Robin Bear has a bid for $1200.00. Last year, the Sir Robin Bear raised $17,000.00 and is rated as the third highest bid in the history of the Bear Auction.

The on-line bidding will continue until February 14th, 2009. There are many beautiful bears and most are autographed by top Broadway stars.

If you want to read more information about the bears, see our article called Cuddly Sir Robin, posted on January 23, 2009

  2. Thanks musicfan for sharing this with us. I can’t wait to see how much this bear brings this year. All the bears are gorgeous. I hope BD/EFA make tons of money for their worthy cause.

  3. I can’t wait to see how much money the bear raises this year. Clay is so generous in so many causes and this is just one of them. He is a wonderful example of a positive celebrity who gives back over and over again to benefit others.
