Clay Aiken – Day 5 in Snoqualmie

Clay Aiken and his tour mates will be performing in Snoqualmie, Washington tonight.  They had a long trek across the USA.  They started in one corner and ended in the opposite.    It would be nice if they have a bit of time to see the beauty of this Washington area.

Snoqualmie is located in the mountains, halfway between Seattle and Snoqualmie Pass.  It has a small-town charm with many historic landmarks, unique shops, wonderful restaurants, and scenic beauty.

Snoqualmie is best known as the home of Snoqualmie Falls, attracting visitors from around the world. Snoqualmie Falls cascades 268 feet over granite cliffs – more than 100 feet higher than Niagara Falls! It is a spectacular experience year-round. Visitors also enjoy the Northwest Railway Museum, the largest railway museum in Washington State. It offers scenic excursions aboard antique train cars along a five mile stretch of historic railway.

The Casino where the concert will take place opened in 2008 and is a beautiful facility.  The residents of the area call it” a little slice of Las Vegas in their backyard.”  The complex has over 170,000 square feet of entertainment space, 5 restaurants and a 1,000 seat events center.  I wonder if  Quiana will win at the slots today.

There have been so many wonderful pictures of the concerts so far, it is almost impossible to pick a few to highlight.  But………here are a few that I think are very nice.
