Clay Aiken – Bits and Pieces

There always seems to be a day that we get many different bits of news about Clay Aiken and The National Inclusion Project.  Tuesday was one of those days.  Lets hope we can cover most of them.

The National Inclusion Project announced today the 3rd Annual “Deck The Halls For Inclusion.” From the web page of the National Inclusion Project, we got the following information.

Buy A Wreath and Send a Kid to Camp

The National Inclusion Project, in partnership with Rockdale Wreaths, is pleased to announce the third annual “Deck the Halls for Inclusion,” a national holiday fundraiser. Rockdale Wreaths creates beautiful, high quality, handmade wreaths and other natural decorations for homes and businesses. These wreaths, and other holiday items, make wonderful gifts for family and friends, too.

The National Inclusion Project will receive $9 per item for purchases made online through the Project’s holiday store, $13 per item for bulk packages (8 wreaths shipped to a single address). To designate Beta Alpha credit for funds raised by your purchase, simply enter your Beta Alpha chapter name in the comment section of the order form.  All orders must be placed through the Project’s unique link – inclusion.rockdalewreaths.com – that has a National Inclusion Project banner at the top of the page. If you do not see a “National Inclusion Project” banner above the wreaths, you are not in the right place, and the National Inclusion Project will not receive credit. Please note: prices are all-inclusive; shipping and handling are already included in the purchase price.

What are you waiting for? Purchase a wreath-or two-or even ten, this holiday season. Help support the National Inclusion Project’s mission to create communities where children of all abilities can learn, live and play.  Share the gift of inclusion with thousands of children nationwide. Inclusion works, and it is a gift worth giving. Let’s ALL Deck the Halls for inclusion this holiday season!

What a great way to combine the beauty of the holiday season with support for your favorite charity.  How many are you going to purchase?

I have received requests from four Clay fan boards to mention their Clay Birthday Projects.  All seem to have the theme to  “Send A Kid To Camp” for Clay’s birthday.  What a wonderful gift for Clay and an even more wonderful gift for the National Inclusion Project.

It only takes $250.00 to send one child to camp.  And, even though many of us might be feeling a bit “tapped out,” if we put our monies together, we can make a difference.  The $5, $10, and $25 donations can add up quickly when everyone works together

At the Clayboard, raising funds for the National Inclusion Project is a tradition that has happened since November 2003.  I loved what Mamarose at the Clayboard said about this year’s campaign:

It is just a question of how many children can we do this for. The sky is the limit and I challenge ALL of our members to come together and raise the number of “Clayboard Campers” high!

She also wanted to remind all fans that if we work together we could help make inclusion a reality for a child who might not otherwise experience it.

So…check with your home board…see if they have a campaign going on and watch as your donation makes a difference.

Clay is included on a new holiday CD called “Melodies of Christmas” – Men of Christmas.  The album is put out by Sony Music and can be bought at most Target stores and some Best Buys and online at buy.com.  The song list looks interesting:

  1. I hadn't heard about that cd. I will be looking for it. Thanks for the info. Cann always keeps us in the know. 🙂

  2. I was walking around in Home Depot looking at live little trees and there was a section for music. I found that CD there! I've already purchased it online, but it was fun to see it. Is this the first time we've seen this "Men of Christmas? I have a boss at work who follows Kenny Chesney like I follow Clay and I was delighted to show her that BOTH of our guys were on the same album!

  3. Thanks for the info on the wreaths. That's great that some boards are working to "Send a Kid to Camp" for Clay's birthday. I think Clay will be thrilled with this gift!

If I see "Men of Christmas," while shopping, I will pick it up. To be honest tho, since it's not all Clay, I won't go out looking for it like I would if it was an all Clay CD.

  4. Thanks for the info on the wreaths and a portion of the proceeds to go to sending a kid to camp. I dont believe I would buy that album since it is by Sony.

  5. Oh, superb written report! I have no clue how you were able to write this article..it’d take me days. Well worth it though, I’d suspect. Have you considered selling advertising space on your website?
