Clay Aiken – At The Top of The List!

Do you remember the Joyful Noise Concert from 2004?  It was the  first full-scale Christmas Tour by Clay Aiken.   He performed 22 concerts across the U.S. and 15 of the shows were sold out!

The first three concerts were postponed when Clay became ill with a throat infection.  The three shows were in California and Arizona and they were re-scheduled for dates after Christmas.

The blog for today was not going to be about this concert, but I got “lost” in my computer today as I was doing some research.  I had forgotten what an extraordinary concert  the 2004 Joyful Noise Tour presented.  A  great deal of work was put into each stop and so many people were involved.  And, the pictures…….well they tell the whole story!!

Pretty amazing, isn’t it??

Today is the last day to submit your song choices in last Mondays blog.  I hope you have a chance to let us know your choices.

  1. I would have loved to have gone to the Joyful Noise tours. I hope we get another Chirstmas tour next year. Thanks for the wonderful pictures. I still love that long coat. 🙂

  2. I too missed out on the excitement of JNT2004 and JNT2005. Did not have computer access. so relied only on sketchy TV and Washington Post information. Glad to have clack now. All Clay's performances are superb and I truly appreciate his many diverse talents.

  3. I am really enjoying these pictures. There is something very special about Clay and Christmas concerts. I hope Clay does another holiday tour next year.

Thank you for getting "lost" in your computer. Do it again!!

  4. What a coincidence that I should come and read this here right now. I just got back from a wonderful performance of South Pacific at the very same theater where I saw Clay for the JNT04 (and 05). I loved today's show, but kept looking around the beautiful theater and imagining Clay singing MDYK. I hope he comes back there again some day–he was pure magic.
