Clay Aiken will be performing at the John A. Williams Theatre tonight. The theatre is part of the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Atlanta concert will be the 5th concert in the Tried & True Tour. Clay’s fans are looking forward to another night of great music and quick wit. Will the audience see another new sweater, or maybe hear a new song? Ah….I can’t wait to find out!
According to some on-line tweets, Clay attended the Musical “Bring It On” at the Alliance Theatre is Atlanta last night. It’s great that Clay is having some fun in Atlanta on his day off.
Bring It On: The Musical is a pop theatrical look at cheerleading competitions. The previews started on January 16th and the show opened on Jan. 28th. The following is how the Alliance Theatre describes the show:
“Two squads. Two schools. One mission: claim the title at the National Cheerleading Championships. The high-stakes world of competitive cheerleading meets the cutthroat rivalries of high school politics and romance in this bold and explosive new musical comedy. How do you learn to be true to your team and to yourself? Sometimes it’s got to get ugly before it gets pretty. Game on.”
The creative people behind the show include Tony Award-winners in choreography, writing, music and lyrics. The musical closes in Atlanta on February 20th.
Musicfan..it was nice to see Clay enjoying his evening out in Atlanta. Good for him. He does love the arts, doesn't he? Sure supports them as much as possible. In this day and age of performers who only care about themselves…Clay is so refreshing. He tries his best to have a normal life, when not on stage. I commend him for this. I hope all that are going to Atlanta tonight, enjoy the show… It's all about the music…and Clay delivers that BIG TIME!!!!!
Hugs, Judy
I am so glad you are keeping us up to date while Clay is on tour. I am glad to read about where he will be that night and a little bit about the venue and possible set list. I am also happy to read Clay is taking in some things he enjoys on a day off. I am looking forward to hearing about tonight's concert. What a wonderful performance he has been giving at each site!
Hope the fans in Atlanta have a great time tonight. 🙂
Bring it On sounds like a fun show. I'll have to check it out if it comes to town.
I think it's great Clay was out seeing a show. Thanks for the videos!
That is so nice that Clay was out enjoying himself in Atlanta. I'm sure he enjoys doing normal things on his time off.
I'm loving all the clack and videos the CANN collects to share with Clay's fans. Thank you so much for keeping the energy up. Looking forward to the concert on Sat. in Cleveland. Clay's hair is looking good…new barber?
Clay looks great in the photos. I'm glad he's getting out on his days off instead of being stuck in a hotel room. Please keep the tour videos coming.
