Clay Aiken – It’s Just Dancin’ !

It’s Just Dancin’ ~ Clay Aiken

” When in doubt…dance!” ~Anonymous

On Tuesday night, there was a lively discussion on twitter about Dancing With The Stars.  Many Clay Aiken fans had gathered to express their disappointment that Chris Brown was a featured guest on the show.  Well, as it usually happens when Clay fans get together, the topic traveled to Clay Aiken.  Led by the wonderful Quiana Parler, the pages were filled with tweets to @Clayaiken and @ABC_DWTS.  “Retweet if you want to see Clay Aiken on DWTS.

Now, do we really think this might happen?  People had many different opinions about this….”He can sing, but no dancing”….”If Clay was on, I would watch every show”…”Clay says he can’t dance, but he can.  He would be fabulous!”  Well, you get the picture!  It was a fun night and Clay fans from all over were tweeting positive things about ClayAiken.  And, the night added some more followers to Clay’s twitter site!

There is a bit of insanity in dancing that does everybody a great deal of good.  ~Edwin Denby

We’re fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance.  ~Japanese Proverb

Nobody cares if you can’t dance well.  Just get up and dance.  ~Dave Barry

Dancing is moving to the music without stepping on anyone’s toes, pretty much the same as life.  ~Robert Brault

  1. he always says 'I can't dance' but he proved he can wiggle and be sexy….. LOL I like most his dance on juke box tour vids.
    Greet from Japan

  2. I would love to see Clay sing on Dancing with the Stars. Of course I wouldn't miss an episode if he were a contestant, but I hope he's focusing on music and what's next for his career. 🙂

  3. I have never watched DWTS – not a single episode. But you'd better believe I would be watching if Clay Aiken were to be on it!! I'd love for him to sing.

My favorite dancing quote (and I don't know who to attribute it to) is "Dance Like No One is Watching"

  4. I am not a constant watcher of DWTS. If there is someone I am interested in – I will catch the video.
BUT if Clay Aiken was on. You betcha I would be watching!
I really would love to see him perform and dance.

  5. I am a fan of Dancing with the stars and would want Clay to do both! I would live to see him perform and if he were a contestant on the show I would watch and vote for him 100%. It would be interesting to see him learn latin and ballroom dancing!

  6. I would love to see Clay sing on DWTS…. I really don't think he will dance. Someone asked him the question while he was in New York, working in Spamalot..and he said a definite "NO"…but who knows…If Clay is there….so am I..

By the way…Love Suerue's Montage "It's Just Dancin'" One of my all-time favourites!!!!! Thank you for posting it again Musicfan.

  7. I loved the tour with him and Ruben and he certainly did show that he knows "some moves". I think he would do great with the dancing, but I don't think it is anything he would ever agree to. I would love to hear him sing on DWTS. He has already done so many songs that would be great for the show to use, but it would be far better if he sang them in person. So come on DWTS, get Clay on to sing!

  8. I don't watch DWTS, but I would if Clay Aiken were on the show. He could sing, dance or banter–I love it all!! He is the best!

  9. I would love to see Clay sing on DWTS. I am a big fan of DWTS…and they always play the kind of music that Clay does so well. By the way..enjoyed that Montage "Its Just Dancin" by Suereu. You got to admit they really got the crowd dancing with "Footloose." I'll have to go watch some of that show again.

  10. Clay is such a beautiful performer, whether singing or dancing. He would be a popular contestant on DWTS, and probably do quite well, and I agree it would be interesting to see his dancing journey from beginning to end on the show.
