What Happened? A picture of Clay Aiken was shown on the popular Fox show, American Idol. This is the first time in many years that AI has remembered that Clay was an important part of the early years of the show.
Being completely honest, I do not watch American Idol, but the news of the picture was quickly announced on both Twitter and FaceBook. The picture showed Clay when he took the private flight to Raleigh as part of the Top Three week on American Idol….Wow, Clay really looked excited!!
Perhaps the very best part of last night was watching the new interview with Clay Aiken on WRAL News. The interview, broadcast from Clay’s home in Durham was full of positive excitement. The interview covered Clay’s remembrances of being a contestant on American Idol. The following pictures are some screencaps from the video.

It was good to see Clay in the opening montage on AI. I wish they could make up. I'd love to see Clay perform there again.

Loved the interview, and all the screencaps. Thanks Musicfan. It was at least nice to know that American Idol recognized Clay. He really was an important part of that show. Actually the biggest viewership for AI was the Season 2 Finale. That hasn't been topped yet. I don't watch the show anymore, but I sure would if they had Clay on again.
When I got home from the gym last night my husband told me that Clay was going to be on Fox50 at 10. I eeeeeed of course and then I posted it right away on fb and my fav mb. I couldn't get there fast enough to tell everyone the news. I'm so glad our clack gatherers were able to capture the interview. It was so exciting to see him and I was so flabergasted when Idol showed his homecoming. What a great night. Thanks everyone for all you do getting this information out. Didn't he look mar ve lous!!

I love that interview with Clay on WRAL. Yes, I do believe he is back in his house. I have watched that video sooo many times. I cannot get over how handsome he is and adorable. I never watch AI either..but, if Clay was performing on that show…I would be right there. He looked MAH-VAL-OUS!
