85th ANNIVERSARY – MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE
On Thanksgiving evening, NBC ran a special about the 85 years of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  At the very end, they  showed a montage of guests set to Clay Aiken singing Silver Bells.  They first showed Clay singing in the parade and then kept his voice as the background music for the rest of the montage.  It was a surprise and fun to see!  The following is a video of what was shown.

  1. Such a terrific surprise to see this video of Clay singing "Silver Bells" !!! This has been a great
year for Clay and us with everything that is going on. It will be wonderful to see him get his B'Day
Wish for winning the Pepsi Ref. for the NIP – He's been and still is at #2!!! I have a feeling 2012
is going to be even better!! That is my wish – anyway! 🙂 <3 <3

  2. So many exciting things coming up and so many good ways to help. Count me in! Thanks for the video. I missed that show. I'm glad to see NBC giving Clay shout outs lately. I guess they're firing up for Celebrity Apprentice. 🙂 Good stuff! 🙂

  3. What fun to see and hear Clay singing Silver Bells again! Thanks for the post. I'm hoping we can win the Pepsi Refresh Challenge for Clay for his birthday.

  4. Alright musicfan – you are always right on top of Clay news. Funny – I had watched a video with Clay riding on that float and singing Silver Bells the day before it showed up on the Matt Lauer Special. Loved it then as well as with that montage showing folks and floats from different Thanksgiving Day parades. Love how they blended the lyrics with the different video takes. Of course, Clay singing them made it extra special. He still continues to be that shining star.

  5. Loved seeing the video. Of course they picked the correct voice to back the video.

Thanks for all the info. I sure hope we win the Pepsi Challenge and I hope we hear about the concert in New York!

    Will anyone be there?

  6. I'm so happy it's looking real good for the National Inclusion Project to win the $50,000 in the Pepsi Challenge.

  7. I got another surprise – After watching the video here – NBC replayed or maybe had it on here
last evening(SAT.) . I got to see the whole program plus got to tape this part of Clay singing
"Silver Bells" ! It was on from 8 – 9 PM. here in Ohio.

Can't be in New York, but will be in Raleigh in 2 weeks – Wow! I can hardly believe it!!! So excited
for the Gala – a first time for me!!!!
