Clay Aiken – Wonderful Promo Today!!

The News&Observer posted a set of 48 pictures of a rehearsal of The Drowsy Chaperone.  They are wonderful.  The photographer is Corey Lowenstein

You can see all the pictures at N&O

The WRAL interview was this morning!

The following are a few comments about the interview!

1.  It is a huge challenge and one of the hardest thing he has ever done.

2.  His favorite part of the play is whenever Beth is performing!!

3.  His tweet last week was about the 3,600 words he has had to learn for the role.

4.  It is like giving a 6 page essay by memory!!

5.  Since most of the cast has performed the play before, he feels like the new guy!!

The following link gets you to the audio of the interview from the WRAL site.   Clay’s part does not start until 15:22 in the recording.  You can link HERE

I will continue to update as more Promo and news is available.

Please check in during the day for more news!!

  1. It's so good to hear Clay reporting on what he is doing in the play – this will take a lot of work – but I
think he enjoys and is very capable of whatever it is that he is working on – best wishes for all members of the cast and crew. Than you for the news and pic, Musicfan!

  2. I love the pictures and especially all the faces Clay makes! I know it will be a wonderful experience and I looking forward to seeing it. I also love the brown sweater-it is "so" Clay!
The radio interview was wonderful -thanks so much for posting it all!

  3. Wow should have checked here sooner to hear/see all the Clay goings on being featured for today. I was not able to connect with the stream during his morning interview. Great catch from the News and Observer for viewing the rehearsal pictures. Love the one you chose to post. Always ready to see Clay photographed in action. He's adorable. Busy promo day for sure.

  4. Just loved all the photos of Clay, just wish I could be there, but appreciate all we can get from this wonderful play, and I listened to him on the radio, he's so humble about himself, I'm sure he's going to do a great job! Best of luck to him and the cast! Love him, thanks Musicfan xox.
