I love that they used up-to-date pictures for this announcement. I do hope that Clay has fun on August 2nd and that we will get to see a bit of Clay that day. Maybe…even a Periscope!!

Hhhmmmmm can't help but wonder if this is the beginning of more of a relationship with Idol for their last season. Consultant, vocal coach, guest judge…..perhaps we will get to see OMC on tv everyweek!

WOW! What a way to start my day! It would be absolute ecstasy to have Clay return to Idol. His run for Congress certainly proved his continued popularity, and I believe he would provide positive criticism blended with his superb sense of humor as a judge. It may be Clay still prefers downplaying his music career if he is still planning to run for Congress again, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that we can have the best of both options!!!!
I'm not going to get my hopes up for more than this wonderful event. Been there, done that, and stressed myself out!!!!!

I just visited Phila. last month. If I'd have known Clay would be there this weekend, I would have waited! I'm letting my brother & sister-in-law know about Clay in Phila. because they live nearby. I'll be watching for that airing on TV in the coming months. Thanks for alerting us with the good news.
