We are sending congratulations to Tyra Banks! On Wednesday, January 27th, Tyra and her boyfriend, Erik Asla welcomed their son, York Banks Asla, via gestational surrogate.
According to People.com, Tyra said:
We are so excited for our new baby boy bundle of joy. The journey to now has not been an easy process, as I’ve shared before. But there was a beautiful bright light at the end of the tunnel for me and his father, Erik.
Clay Aiken and Tyra are good friends. I would guess that Clay was one of the first to congratulate the beautiful family!
In November of 2006, Clay Aiken was a guest on the Tyra Banks Show. It was a huge hit with the television audience and the live audience reported that it was one of the best shows they had ever seen. For those who have followed Clay Aiken for many years, the show has been talked about a lot….but….I had forgotten that he had a mini photo shoot before the show. Didn't Clay just post a photo a few days ago with Tyra at the show Hamilton? I would guess it was just before he left for London. Clay was a big hit with Tyra and the audience when he appeared on her show…especially that little kiss.
