Diane Warren loved the rendition of Clay's "I Could Not Ask for More" The T-Shirt Diane gave to Simon, describes him to a tee (pardon the pun), As Clay as stated before, the people on Broadway are the most talented' so Simon's comment was complimentary!

I couldn't ask for more on a rainy, gray morning than Clay singing this song. Simon was right about Clay being a hit on Broadway. Clay proved it in Spamalot many years later.
I never saw that performance before. Cool! As for the sweater, whoever made it for him, made it with love. So if people don't like it, that's their problem!
