Clay Aiken – Visits The Shubert Theatre

Have you ever seen the Broadway Musical, Matilda?  This award winning show opened on Broadway on April 11, 2013.  It is the winner of 4 Tony Awards including the Best Book of a Musical. The show is based on the 1988 children’s novel by Roald Dahl.

Matilda is an extraordinary girl who takes her destiny into her own hands.

Clay Aiken was in the audience for Matilda on Wednesday.  He must have felt right at home since Matilda is playing at the Shubert Theatre.  That is the the same theatre where Clay performed in Spamalot.  It looks like Clay enjoyed the show with some fun companions.

I hope I get to see this show sometime soon!!

OK……..Are you ready to give a vote to Clay Aiken in a new Poll?  Rodney Ho at the Atlanta Journal- Constitution put together a poll titled:

25 most successful ‘American Idol’ contestants of all time, 2016 edition

I do like the names Rodney has in the poll, but I disagree with his order.  But, thankfully, Rodney gives the fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite and change the order of the top 25.

So…I hope you will visit the poll and vote for Clay.  Each vote will help him climb to the very top!!!  To get to the poll, click on AJCPOLL .  I do remember that Clay said he liked to do well in polls!!

Now…how could you forget to vote for Clay!

  1. I cast my vote for Clay! It is an one time voting! It is nice to see Clay taking time off from the political forum and enjoying the theater! I and my daughters enjoyed the book "Matilda" and would like to see the play!

  2. When I first read that Matilda was playing at the Shubert, I thought of seeing Clay perform in Spamalot there several years ago. I wonder if Parker was on spring break and joined Clay to watch the show. I did vote for Clay on the Rodney Ho site (a couple of times).
