WTVS Detroit Public Television is the viewer-supported PBS station serving the nation’s 11th largest television market. According to their website:
Our vision is for a community in which people trust public media to help them discover new ideas, make informed decisions, and enjoy enriched lives.
We offer ten hours of PBS KIDS programs each weekday, along with national and international news, PBS favorites and classic films.
The station certainly sounds like a great channel to see many different types of shows.
The Detroit Public Television was one of the stations that aired Clay Aikens Tried & True – Live. It was aired on September 25, 2010.
For promo for the show, the station showed an extensive interview with Clay. On You-Tube, the interview is divided into 5 different videos. I thought it might be fun to see some of the interview here. I chose parts 3, 4, and 5. Each one is about 3 minutes long and very interesting!
The interview is great and there are short peeks of the OMG Tried & True Concert in Raleigh!
How times have changed!!!
Thank you for sharing these interviews of Clay from 2010! Great way to start my Sunday morning with my coffee, bagel and OMC!
Loved seeing the interviews. I don't think I have seen them before. Thanks for posting the videos. Where do you find all this fabulous stuff?
As much as I play with YouTube I have never come across these interviews. They are wonderful. Clay at his best and most handsome. I love the mature Clay. I have the Tried & True DVD. Got it from Amazon well after its original release date. Thanks for making my day with another great post! ❤️ UNCONDITIONAL love for you Clay. You are tried & true!
This is the first time I've seen this interview, but it won't be the last. So good to see Clay talking about his friend, Ruben and the tour that they did. I did go to Raleigh to watch the Tried & True taping and then saw them together on tour.
Thank you for posting these interviews. I had planned to go to the taping of Tried and True, but every time, except – the 2011 Champion's Gala- that I had planned to go to Raleigh; either my family or myself got too sick to travel. I watched it at home, then got the album and dvd.
thanks so much for posting those interviews
Thank's for the sweet memories. The interview was so interesting.
I am grateful I was there at the taping of the show. OMG! really described the event. Clay's voice was wonderful The sound system was incredible. You felt the songs, The sound felt like it came up from the floor, and flooded your body. WOW!! The actual video didn't quite capture the effect.
Oh My God!!! Where have these interviews been hiding! I thought I had seen just about every interview he's ever done!! Great stuff! Oh my goodness, why doesn't he keep this look like forEVER huh? Great hair, even great eyebrows lolol!!! Perfect!! Thanks Martha!! You made my day!!!!
