Clay Aiken – An Amazing Tour

2003 -2020

It’s 17 years since Clay Aiken was on tour with American Idols of Season 2!

In August of 2003, Clay and the other Idols were on the tour to show off their performance qualities.  The tour had 41 performances and was sponsored by Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts.

I loved the review from the L.A. Times:

(Aiken was) clearly the star attraction…it was Aiken who turned the Pond into the House of Clay. While his colleagues strained to show off their talents, Aiken eased through his numbers with effortless poise and charisma…

The other day, I came across the following video of Clay.  Titled, Superstar Clay Aiken Creates Chaos In Raleigh, the video shows the excitement in Raleigh as Clay returns home with the Season 2 Idols!.  It was put together by Clackattack5230.

How fun to go back 17 years and watch this fun video!!

Let me know if you liked the video!!

  1. Such a great video – so much excitement! Raleigh sure loved and still loves Clay. Clay was so humble and gracious with all of the adoration of the hometown fans! He was just as excited as the fans were.

I loved this video and thank you for putting it on so we can still see how much we love and think of him even today.

  2. Clay experienced an emotion triumph when performing at his hometown: Raleigh! Love the video, CANN!

  3. Yes, I loved the video. I would have gone to see that first AI 2 concert when it came through my town, but I had planned a summer vacation several months before, and we left on the day of the concert. Of course, I didn't miss any concerts after the first one.

  4. Thank you for all the pictures and the video. I can not believe it was so long ago. I like the video. It shows how much the home crowd loved Clay. Thank you for showing the video.

  5. Loved the video, Clay was a star then and is still a star today. He should sing again. His voice is his strength.

  6. Loved the video and I'm so grateful we have such good videographers!! Unfortunately, I have always regretted not attending this AI 2 concert. I didn't realize what a big role Clay would play in it. I think Clay was absolutely shocked at all the attention he got when he returned to Raleigh. These videos bring tears to my eyes reliving our journey and memories over all these years!
