On Monday, August 30th, Clay Aiken was somewhere in the world being a regular person. There were no sightings or rumors. Clay is in his “man cave.”
However, the public Clay Aiken was all over the Internet. When a google search was launched, Clay’s PSA for UNICEF was listed and posted at sites all over the net. From the USA Today – Idol Chatter to Gossip Blender, from Look To The Stars to JustJared, every legitimate and non-legitimate site posted the wonderful video that Clay recorded.
The biggest honor for Clay was to see that his UNICEF video was on the United Nations web site. You can find it HERE.
When was the last time you visited the Decca Records web site. If you haven’t had a chance to visit the site, why not stop by and leave a review of Tried & True: Live! As of August 30th, there are 34 reviews. It only takes a few minutes and I am sure that Decca and Clay would appreciate the support. Besides, the site is interesting to see. Just click on DECCARECORDS
Do you think that Clay Aiken is still interested in The Amazing Race? If he still wants to be a contestant on the show, he just might get a chance. Lynette Rice, a writer for Entertainment Weekly wrote that there might be a Celebrity Amazing Race.
Phil Keoghan, the host of The Amazing Race said he would love to see a celebrity Amazing Race. However, he also said:
…. there have been talks about featuring a Hollywood edition but the realities of celebrity life make the possibility daunting….The question that always comes up is would we be able to get them out of their schedule….

Do you think Clay would participate in the Celebrity Amazing Race if he were invited? If so, who would make a good travel buddy for Clay?
It's great to see Clay getting press for the Public Service Annouoncement for Pakistan. I hopeit helps.
While it would be a blast to see Clay on the Amazing Race I hope he is too busy with music to be able to do it. Although a good travel buddy would obviously be Ruben. But they might start having too much fun and get distracted from the race. 🙂
It has been nice to see all the press for Pakistan. After all, that is the purpose to get the people in Pakistan help.
About Amazing Race..I really could never see Clay doing this. I mean, there is always water involved in the race, and I can't see Clay getting close to that!!! He'd be done. I think he has gotten over a lot of his fears, but water….nope….hahahaha
Love that his PSA was on the UN site. Also love knowing that Clay Aiken is enjoying some private time right now. I sure do miss him, but he needs that time to recharge his batteries.
Already left my reviews for the Tried and True Live DVD and for the CD. I noticed that those two are tied for the number one highest rated product–great to see. Love that when you visit the Decca site, Clay's video of the making of the special is still featured.
Always nice to see the press. I'm selfish though …. I want him to come out of his cave and talk to us. I miss him already. Can't understand that a couple of weeks isn't enough time to rest up from that concert! I feel just fine and am ready to do it again! 😉 Clay, wherever you are, whatever you are doin', I hope you're still having the time of your life. Your concert lives on with us every day.
No Amazing Race now, Clay, remember what that slide in Windsor did to your knee? It was cool but it hurt. We want you to keep yourself in tip top shape, for you, for Parker and for us too.
Thanks for the blog, Musicfan. Enjoyable as always. 🙂
While I'd love to see Clay on the Amazing Race, I just don't see that becoming a reality. Jimmy Kimmel would be my pick for his partner. What a fun team that would be.
