It certainly was a night to remember in North Carolina on Saturday night. The staff of UNC-TV went all out to encourage the fans of Clay Aiken to participate in Pledge Night at their PBS station. Hosting Clay live in the station was great and then involving the fans in contests, twitter parties and extra pictures made the entire evening a huge success. The station reported that they exceeded their goal of pledge numbers for the evening.
Now………this is the way to succeed in a fundraising event. The staff went all out to make sure it would be successful. Congratulations on a job well-done.

UNC-TV knows how to be respectful to their guests. Other TV stations and radio stations could take a lesson from UNC-TV. Treat people with respect if you want to get respect.. Some of the media (most) are just looking for huge ratings, respect doen't enter their minds.
That was fun wasn't it? I am sure the PBS in North Carolina loved the monies that they received from Clay Aiken's special and the tweeter party they had. Loved it.
Looks like everyone had a great time at UNC-TV. Glad it went well. I'm looking forward to showing my support in Dallas on Wednesday. I really hope new people are discovering Clay with this wonderful concert. It sure has been a lot of fun watching this all roll out.

I had a great time at the UNC Twitter Party last night. Couldn't think of a better way to spend my Saturday night then with Clay and PBS. Not to mention, how handsome he looked. They sure did have a good turnout too, didn't they? Now that's how to advertise someone who will be appearing on your show..some stations could learn from this. Thank you for all the beautiful pictures.
