I started Wednesday by looking up “Birthday Quotes.” The following quote by John Oates caught my eye. You remember John, don’t you? He is best known as half of the rock duo Hall & Oates. John’s quote reminded me of another very talented entertainer.

Today is World Aids Day
World AIDS Day is held on 1 December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day and the first one was held in 1988.
This is a day when I thank organizations like Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. It is an easy organization to support. They enlist the entire Broadway community in the fundraising for fighting aids and educating people about aids…one of their mottos is: What We Do Together Makes A Difference!

Yesterday was a fun day in Clay Aiken land. Not only was it his birthday, but the day NIP was awarded $50,000 for its Let's Play Camps. Loved seeing all the greetings he deservedly received.
Yesterday was such a great day for Clay and NIP. NIP got $50,000 for it programs and Clay garnered so many wonderful Birthday wishes from far and wide. 2012 is going to be a fantastic year for Clay.

I just read that article by Mr. Byrd. He is right, there is no other person from AI who sold as many copies of their Christmas Album. Clay is just stupendous on this album. I am waiting for him to record another one. I am also very happy with the $50,000 that NIP will get. Many good things will come out of this money for the children.
