Clay Aiken – Where Does That Voice Even Come From?

Thursday..it’s Halloween and we have some fun mentions about Clay Aiken

The website, AL.com is All Alabama.  On Thursday, they published an article about Taylor Hicks and his appearance on Law & Order, SVU.  Written by Mary Colurso, the article is a very nice review of Taylor and what he is doing in the entertainment field. Clay was mentioned in the article.

…When the 2006 “American Idol” winner returns to network TV, however, he’ll be putting a twist on his reality past. Hicks, 37, will appear on the Nov. 6 episode of NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” playing one of three judges on a fictional singing competition.
Clay Aiken, another “Idol” veteran, and R&B singer Ashanti complete the judging troika for “American Diva,” a show rocked by scandal and allegations of sexual abuse. In true “SVU” style, Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) is determined to uncover the truth, even if her investigation ruins the career of a popular singing coach (played by Broadway star Billy Porter)…
…”Because Clay and I come from the TV world, we know what it’s like,” Hicks said. “We also understand what a struggling artist goes through on a primetime network talent competition. Clay might be one of the hardest-working guys who’s ever come off (‘American Idol’). I admire his work ethic. He knows what it takes to stay relevant after that show. Ashanti was great, too.  We all had a wonderful time.” …
What a nice comment from Taylor about Clay.  I bet they had some fun conversations talking about their different times on American Idol.  You can see the entire article by Colurso at AL.COM
